When I was at Founder’s Circle in September, I received a gorgeous card made by Shelli Gardner and her daughter, Sara Douglass. The card I am sharing today is a simplified version of the card they made. This is a beautiful stamp from the Holiday Catalog – called Oh Holy Night.
This card goes together pretty quickly – here’s what I did to make it –
I started with a 4 1/4 x 11 piece of Naturals Ivory Card stock, and embossed the front with the Pretty Print Textured Impressions Embossing folder and my Big Shot.
I stamped the stamp Oh Holy Night (#131835 clear and #131832 wood) with Cherry Cobbler ink onto a piece of Whisper White Card Stock. I used a framelit from Apothecary Accents and my Big Shot to cut this shape. I then added the little “flourish” at the bottom of this piece with Basic Gray ink. The “flourish” is from Merry Little Christmas stamp set (#131829).
I wrapped Cherry Cobbler bakers twine several times around this piece and tied it with the little tails hanging down. The Champagne Glimmer star was the finishing touch – this was cut using one of the extra little framelits from the Thinlets Circle Card framelit set.
I love the simple beauty of this card, and the sentiment of the stamp. Hope you enjoy it too!
My youngest daughter Faith is performing this weekend in her high school musical, The Drowsy Chaperone. While I am very familiar with most musicals, this was one I had never heard of, and I have to say – it is very funny and entertaining. The kids in the show do an amazing job – lots of talent as always from these students! Here’s a photo after the show – isn’t she a beauty? So proud of you Faith!

Enjoy your day and thanks for stopping by!
