Perfect Pennants and Sale-a-bration

This card was inspired by a swap card I received from Evelyn Wood.  Thank you, Evelyn!!
I just switched it up a bit – love the colors!

My card features a stamp from the Perfect Pennants stamp set – I think it is my favorite stamp in the set – I sure have been using it a lot.

The little snippet of ribbon is the Natural Chevron Ribbon.

My card base is crumb cake, and I used crumb cake ink to stamp the greeting onto a piece of Whisper White card stock.  This was layered onto a piece of  Pool Party card stock.  I stamped a few images from the Petal Parade Stamp Set – also a Sale-a-Bration set!  I used Pistachio Pudding ink and Crisp Cantaloupe Ink.

For the punched flowers, I used the Pansy Punch and the Petite Petals Punch.  The paper I used for my flowers is a FREE Sale-a-bration product – the Sweet Sorbet designer series paper.  And I finished off the centers of the flowers with some rhinestones.

Of course I had to add a snippet of a tea lace paper doily!

Thanks for stopping by ! We made it through the big storm with no issues!  And things are back to normal today – all plowed out and the kids are back to school!!
