Yesterday was Cards for the Troops day – this time we did Easter and Memorial Day Cards – we made 100 cards in less than an hour!! The cards are pretty simple, and went together quickly, but we hope they will brighten the day of the service men or women that receive them!   It surely brightens our hearts to do something for these special people!

The above card is for Memorial Day – I had seen a similiar card on pinterest done in white, but I thought it would be fun to create an “americana” feel to the card!  

The base of this card is cut 7 x 5 to create a card that measures 3 1/2 x 5.  We even have crumb cake envelopes for a card this size – love these!!! (item #131528).

The Easter card is very simple and is a little 3 x 3 notecard.   The cards are included in a package for the recipient and we just thought it would be fun to change things up a bit and send a little card!
