March Stamper’s Dozen Blog Hop

Welcome to our March Stamper’s Dozen Blog Hop, and welcome to my blog!   My
project today uses one of Stampin’ Up’s Tag a Bag Gift Bags – which I
“dressed up” for Easter.

Here’s how I made this –

I used my Big Shot and the Tasteful Trim Bigz Die with Gumball Green cardstock for the scallop shapes and then snipped these up with the Fringe Scissors to create grass.

The eggs and butterfly are from the Backyard Basics stamp set – I stamped the eggs with Sahara Sand ink onto Very Vanilla cardstock and the butterfly was stamped with Soft Sky ink onto Soft Sky cardstock.

The Backyard Basics stamp set has coordinating framelits – and I used them to cut out both the egg and the butterfly shapes.  Love our framelits – sure make things easy for us, don’t they?  The stamp set and framelits are even bundled together – purchase the bundle and save 15%.

I positioned the eggs into the grass and also added some little flowers – punched with one of the punches from the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack.  Colors used were Soft Sky, Daffodil Delight, Pink Pirouette and Very Vanilla.  I added a tiny pearl to each flower’s center, and also added one to the butterfly.

The “Happy Easter” greeting is from Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set – this is a must have stamp set – I use mine all the time!

I sponged some Soft Sky ink onto a Tea Lace Doily and attached it to my bag with a Mini Metallic Clothespin.  These come in Gold and Silver and I chose Gold for my project.

I plan on making some of these up for Easter Dinner – I think they will look really cute at everyone’s place at the table.  I have listed all of the products used for this project at the very bottom of today’s post.

While I was getting set up to take the picture of my project, someone climbed onto the back of the couch to see what I was doing.

This is Benny, my daughter Sarah’s puppy.  He is very cute and very curious! And by the way he has chewed up my Stampin’ Up! catalog, I think he must enjoy paper crafting!

Please leave a comment – I would love to know what you think of my little Easter bag!!

Loved your bag, but really loved Benny. I have a brother with a middle name of Bernard, and we always call him Benny. Don't tell my brother, but I think your Benny is cuter.
