Backyard Basics Easter Card

Apr 7, 2014 | Uncategorized | 0 comments

If you are a regular follower of my blog (thanks!) – you may remember this bag that I created using the Tag a Bag Gift Bags.  Well, today’s post is pretty much the same idea as the bag, but I have turned it into a card –

I used the butterfly and egg stamps from Backyard Basics Bundle (buy bundle at save 15%).  The framelits sure make it easy to perfectly cut these shapes.

The green grass is the scallop from the Tasteful Trim die for the Big Shot –  snipped with the fringe scissors.

A little fun tip for the fringe scissors someone shared with me – If you like to cook, the fringe scissors are an excellent way to snip up fresh herbs!!!  Sounds like a great idea with me – I think I will be ordering a second pair to keep in my kitchen!

Anyway, back to my card —

The little flowers are from the Punch Pack and the Happy Easter Stamp is from Teeny Tiny Wishes, and I cut a tea lace doily in half and layered on my card.

Card Base is Soft Sky and is cut 4 1/4 x 11.  The Tag A Bag is cut 3 3/4 x 5.  Love the Chevron Pattern!

Thanks so much for stopping by today !  Looking forward to my team of demonstrators coming over tonight for a meeting!  Always a fun time – love these ladies!!!

Hope you have a great day, too!

If you are interested in supplies for this card, they are listed on the link above where the bag is.
