Cheer Up Buttercup

Apr 9, 2014 | Uncategorized | 0 comments

I love the Cheer Up Buttercup stamp from the Geometric Stamp Set and for my card today, I thought I would create a little bouquet of buttercups to hopefully brighten someone’s day!

Here’s how I created this card –

My card base is 4 1/4 x 11 inches, in daffodil delight cardstock.

Next is a layer of basic black – 4 3/8 x 5 1/8

The Whisper White layer is stamped very lightly with the Dictionary stamp. (Inked with basic gray ink and stamped off on scrap paper before stamping on the card front).

The flowers were made using the Flower Shop stamp set and Pansy punch, stamped with Daffodil Delight Ink.

The flower stems are just small strips of Pear Pizzazz card stock tied up with a bit of Daffodil Delight stitched ribbon.

And my Cheer Up Buttercup Banner is stamped with Daffodil Ink onto Whisper White card stock – I flagged both ends with my Hexagon punch, and them sponged some ink around the edges.

And here are this week’s deals –

My favorites – the Punch Pack – it is a must have!! And I love the Secret Garden Framelits!!!

Thanks for visiting today !!
