Papillon Potpourri

Pretty color combination – this card uses Island Indigo and some of our gold products.

Here’s how I made this –

I started with a base of Island Indigo Cardstock – 4 1/4  x 11 inches, and scored it in half at 5 1/2 inches.

I added a layer of Island Indigo Designer Series Paper cut 4 1/ 4  x  3 inches, attached to bottom of card front.

I used a piece of Whisper White Cardstock (cut just a bit less than two inches wide) and the Scallop Tag Topper punch to create my tag.

I added several strips of the Watercolor Wonder Washi tape to the tag.

My butterflies were stamped in Island Indigo ink on Whisper White Cardstock and punched with the Elegant Butterfly punch, and attached them to the tag with glue dots.   I like to gently “fluff'” up the wings to create some dimension.    I used a glue dot to attach the strip of sequins to the tag top – and then threaded some gold bakers twine through the hole (punched by the Tag Topper Punch) and tied a knot.

I layered a bit of Gold Foil Vellum under the tag, attached it to the card, and my card was complete!
