Postage Collection

Apr 5, 2014 | Uncategorized | 0 comments

Here’s a simple but sweet little card for a special someone!  The card uses images from the Postage Collection stamp set  (hostess set), and the beautiful Natural Composition Specialty paper.  I love this paper and often forget about using it -(need to use it more!)

Here’s how I put this card together –

The base is Soft Sky cardstock – 4 1/4 x 11 – scored at 5 1/2
The layer of Natural Composition Paper is cut 4 x 5 1/4
My focal point is made up of  stamps from the Postage Collection (all stamped on Very Vanilla cardstock and sponged with Crumb Cake ink.

I stamped the frame with Crumb Cake ink and punched it out with the Postage Stamp Punch.  The bee was stamped in Staz On black ink and punched out with the 1 inch circle punch.  The Thank You was stamped on a little strip of paper and I used the Hexagon Punch to “flag” the ends.

I also added a little strip of Soft Sky cardstock and a bit of Crochet Lace.   I made some loops with Linen Thread and attached it to my card with some dimensionals.

All supplies listed below – you can click on any link and order these supplies from my online store.  And don’t forget to take advantage of my Customer rewards to earn free product!   Read about them HERE!

Thanks for visiting today!  I have to take myself away from my computer and stampin’ and get some housework done today! Of course, I’d rather “bee” stampin’!  Have a great day!
