In addition to the Project Life by Stampin’ Up! gift posted yesterday, I also made a cute gift card holder (to hold a gift card of course!).
This started with one of the Gift Card Enclosure Packs. I love these – I give a lot of gift cards and gift card giving with these couldn’t be simpler! And the price is right – 10 for just $5.95!
Here’s how it went together:
I used Pink Pirouette card stock and punched flowers using the Pansy Punch and the Petite Petals Punch. I wrapped Venetian Crochet Trim around the enclosure and tied it in a big bow.
The banner “For the Bride” is a stamp from Cheers to Love stamp set – stamped with Memento Black Ink onto Very Vanilla cardstock.
I layered this onto two more banners – one in Pink Pirouette and one in the Letterpress Specialty Paper. To “flag” the ends, I used my Hexagon punch – makes creating these really easy!
I added a bit of extra sparkle with a small strip of Champagne Glimmer paper. LOVE this with Crumb Cake/Kraft cardstock! I looped some Gold Bakers twine and tucked that under the flower – held in place with dimensionals.
I wanted to attach the gift card holder to my bag (that held the Project Life gift) – so I created a few more layers – using more Blushing Bride and Typeset papers. I used Jumbo Sticky Rounds to attach all the layers together. These are very, very sticky so I cut the circles in quarters to hold each layer together.
I covered a clothespin with a small piece of Typeset paper and used that to clip this to my bag.
