Thankful for You

Nov 3, 2014 | Uncategorized | 1 comment

Happy Monday, friends!  Wanted to share today my thank you card that was sent to everyone who placed an order with me in October – both online and my local customers.

As in most of my cards, this one is pretty simple and quick to create- that kind of card always works for me!   Hope you all agree!

So to create this card, here’s what I did –

I started with a notecard/envelope.  I love these – they are packaged together with 20 notecards and envelopes. We also offer these in crumb cake (my favorite color!)  This card would look great on a crumb cake notecard – in fact, some that I sent this month were!

I stamped a little “grunge” on my card front (soft suede ink) – these  spots are one of the stamps from the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set – I use this set ALL the time – in fact, it is always out on my desk  – no point in putting it away because I use it on most of my projects!

I cut a 1 1/2 inch sqaure from the Color Me Autumn designer series paper.  I used dimensionals to pop this piece up – and wrapped some white bakers twine around my fingers to create a loop – and tacked that onto the back of the square.

I placed this on my card front – and then stamped my greeting.  The greeting I used was from our October hostess special stamp set – Good Greetings.  It is not available now (sorry) – but I know many of you “earned” it!    If you don’t have this word set, you can easily substitute any other greeting you have.  There are a lot that would work with this card.

Next I stamped two feathers from the Four Feathers stamp set – one in Tangelo Twist ink and one in Soft Suede ink.

This is a set that is bundled together with the Feathers framelits dies(save 15% when you purchase the bundle).   After stamping the feathers I used the framelits to cut them out – perfectly and quickly! No fussy cutting needed on this card!

To finish the card, I used a knot of Tangelo Twist ribbon and attached it with a glue dot.

Working on my November thank you cards today – check back to see what that card will be!

Supplies used on my card are listed below! Simply click on any image and you will be taken to my online store to order these supplies!

Tip : – See Supply List highlighted above?  Click there and you will be able to print up all the supplies used in my card today!  This will make it super easy to re-create this card.

Hope you all have a great day!  And as always, thanks for stopping by!
