I’m excited to be back and hopping with the Stamper’s Dozen!  Our theme this month is a “Welcome to the New Catalog.” There’s a lot to love in this new catalog, don’t you think?

The card that I decided to share today features the beautiful Bird Ballad Suite, probably my favorite new suite of products.   

My card features the Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper (4″ x 5 1/4″) on a Pool Party cardstock base (5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″)

For the focal point, I used the Stitched Nested Labels Dies – I first cut one in Whisper White cardstock to create the background, and stamped the greeting on this layer with Memento Black ink.    I also stamped the rosebud stamp onto the top of this shape.

 I used Memento Black Ink to stamp the bird, flowers and leaves onto a scrap of whisper white cardstock, and colored all images with Stampin’  Blends –  Pool Party, Calypso Coral, and Old Olive.   I used my Paper Snips and fussy cut these images.

Next I created a frame, using two of the Stitched Nested Labels Dies – with Smoky Slate cardstock.  I love the added detail that the stitching on these dies creates. I used dimensionals and attached this over the Whisper White shape I had started with. 

To finished the card, I used dimensionals to place the cut out images onto the Gray Frame, and added three of the Frosted & Clear Epoxy Droplets.
