Snail Mail Card by Laura Milligan

Wouldn’t you love to have your mailbox overflowing with Happy Mail?  That was the look I created with this card!   I just love the Snail Mail Suite, and like I said yesterday, it just makes me happy! The colors, and the adorable snails so cute – and who thought mushrooms could be cute – but in this suite they are, right?

Today I am sharing two cards I made on my Facebook Live yesterday afternoon.  You can watch the recording below to see how I put these cards together- and if you haven’t subscribed to my YouTube channel, please do so you don’t miss when I share!!

My first card is a cute card that features the little envelope (my favorite die in the Snail dies set)-  I have put the snail and several little postcards – all cut with the Snail dies into the envelope – just for fun!  Even the red Designer Series Paper is cropped from a die in this set.  So cute!  I added some DSP to the flap of the envelope – this is a great way to use up small pieces of DSP that you have – and a fun way to dress up the envelope – the recipient will know that there is happy mail inside!

Measurements:

Blushing Bride card base – 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, scored at 4 1/4

Basic White – 4 x 5 1/4, embossed with the Subtles Embossing Folder

Small pieces of Designer Series Paper (DSP), Real Red, and Basic White cardstock for die-cutting.   The snail was cropped directly from the DSP!

My second card was the mailbox with Happy Snail Mail spilling out!
