You're One in a Million Heart Card by Laura Milligan True Love DSP from Stampin' Up!

Today’s card focuses on 2 of my Top Picks from the January-June Mini Catalog! You know, after all of last week’s posts, that the True Love DSP is a top pick – and I did use it on today’s card – but I also love the Lots of Heart Bundle.   I’ll be featuring this bundle all week!  You may be wondering why I am sharing the Lots of Heart Bundle this week – after all, Valentine’s Day was yesterday –  but I LOVE hearts and think it’s important to tell people you love them ALL YEAR LONG!

I couldn’t resist creating this card with the black and white – and a touch of Rococo Rose.  The adorable scalloped heart and the black and white heart were both cropped with the Many Hearts Dies.

I used my Rococo Rose Stampin’ Blends to color the one flower (one in a million!) and then stamped the words (from the Quite Curvy stamp set) onto a small strip of Basic White cardstock with Tuxedo Black Memento ink.  I was able to “straighten” the curvy words by attaching it to my block in a straight line.   I stamped “one” onto a small piece of Rococo Rose to make it stand out in the phrase.

Basic White Thick Cardstock: 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 scored at 4 1/4
Rococo Rose Cardstock: 4 x 5 1/4
True Love DSP: 3 7/8 x 5 1/8

Use the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine with the  Many Hearts dies to crop a large scalloped heart with Basic White cardstock,  and a floral heart from the True Love DSP.
Use Rococo Stampin’ Blends to add color to one flower in the cutout heart shape.
Straighten the Word stamp by pulling it straight and pushing it onto the clear block so that it is no longer curved.   Stamp with Tuxedo Black Memento ink onto a small strip of Basic White cardstock.   Stamp the word “one” onto a small piece of Rococo Rose cardstock.
Use Paper Snips to cut the words apart.
To assemble the card, use Stampin’ Seal to adhere the Rococo Rose panel to the Basic White card base, and then add the striped DSP panel.
Use Stampin’ Seal to attach the white scalloped heart.  Add the floral heart with dimensionals.  Add a Black Matte dot to the center of the colored flower.
Use glue dots to attach each word.
