Sharing today the two cards I made yesterday for my Facebook Live Take 2. This Oh Snap stamp set is just too cute! My first card is a “card on a card”. I wanted to create a look of water – and chose Bermuda Bay, Pool Party and Coastal Cabana polka dot patterns from the 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper Assortments. These are retiring!
Please refer to the end of this post for measurements for the two projects. I created a card on my 1/4 sheet card base with Granny Apple Green cardstock. I didn’t want to cut all those teeth and spines on the crocodile – and really wanted his teeth to be white anyway – so I stamped him first on a square of Basic White cardstock, and them stamped him again on a piece of Granny Apple Green DSP (also from the Designer Series Paper Assortment). I cut him out – but cut away the teeth and spines. At this point, all I had to do was use a little Liquid Glue and position the cut out shape onto the stamped image on the Basic White square.
My greeting uses the Double Oval punch – if you have been waiting for this punch – it is now back in our warehouse and available for purchase!!! YAY!

The next card I created is something we all need – hopefully not often! It’s a cute and sweet way to tell someone you are sorry! For this card, I used a monochromatic color palette of Just Jade. I stamped my Croc onto a piece of Basic White and cropped her out with the Layering Oval dies. I also cropped out a Basic Black Scalloped oval – also from the Layering Oval dies. These are retiring – I hate ot see these go – they are a basic in my stampin’ aresenal!
I used the retiring Buffalo Check stamp with my Stamparatus and created a strip of checks for my card front. I stamped a few of the “sorry” stamp along the side – also in Just Jade ink – and embellished with the 2020-2022 In Color Enamel dots. They are retiring.
