Here’s a super simple but sweet card for today- featuring the Hedgehugs stamp set. If you like “cute” you should really take a look at this sweet set!
The card starts with a base of Thick Whisper White cardstock – my “go to” for most of my cards. I scored it with my Stampin’ Up! Paper Trimmer at 4 1/4″ for a crisp, clean fold.
I used a piece of Calypso Coral cardstock, and embossed it with the Basket Weave embossing folder and attached it to my card front.
I stamped the hedgehog with Basic Gray ink, and punched it out with a 2 1/4″ circle punch. I used Calypso Coral Stampin’ Blends to color the flower, and added a touch of pink to the hedgehog’s cheek with the Light Pink Pirouette Blend.
To finish the card, I stamped “hi there” with Basic Gray ink, and flagged the end to create a little banner. I used a bit of the Gray Shimmer Ribbon underneath the banner, and added a Calypso Coral dot from the Subtles Enamel Shapes.
I used several Saleabration products in this card – The Basket Weave Embossing folder and the Gray Shimmer Ribbon are both free during Saleabration with qualifying orders!
Here’s what the entire set looks like – Hedgehugs – so CUTE!

Today I am sharing a card made with the Birthday Blooms stamp set. Such a pretty set and it also has some really nice word stamps.
Here’s how my card went together:
Card base is 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
Next layer is Fabulous Foil Designer Acetate – 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″. It’s clear with a gold design- I attached it to the middle of the card front so that the adhesive was hidden.
Stamp the large flower image twice with Memento black ink onto a 3 3/4″ x 5″ panel of Whisper White thick cardstock.
Color in the flower image with Stampin’ Blends – Pink Pirouette, Daffodil Delight and Old Olive.
Stamp the “dot” image around the flowers with Powder Pink ink. Attach this panel to the cardfront with Stampin’ dimensionals.
Stamp “happiest of birthdays” onto a piece of Whisper White cardstock – and Memento Black ink. Layer onto a piece of Powder Pink cardstock.
To finish the card, make a small bow with Gold 1/8″ ribbon and attach with a glue dot.
Supplies are listed below with clickable links to my online store! I’d be grateful for your order!
