Hand “Santa-Tizer”

Hand “Santa-Tizer”

I think these are really cute and fun!  I love hand sanitizers but thought these were fun for Christmas!  I made many, many of these and handed them out to friends, along with a package of Christmas kleenex!  Just a little, inexpensive but fun gift!   This was all made with MDS 2.  Created Santa’s jacket and printed them off, and used sticky strip to hold them in place around a bottle of hand sanitizer.  The tag was quick and easy wiht MDS 2 as well.
Took a break from wrapping to post today – hope you are all enjoying this day and have everything ready for tomorrow!   I am getting there……..

Teacher Christmas Thanks!

Teacher Christmas Thanks!

Faith is in eighth grade this year and has 7 wonderful teachers.  We made up little Christmas gifts for them – we appreciate ALL that they do for Faith and her school.

It is great when you have four daughters because many of the teachers she has this year are the same teachers her older sisters had.  Our daughters have been truly blessed over the years by the wonderful teachers in Canton City Schools – and we are grateful to them all!

These were really fun to make – they are square shaped chocolate bars I found and we tucked a Starbucks Gift Card on the back.

I wrapped the chocolate with assorted patterns from the pretty Candlelight Christmas Specialty Designer Paper, cut out a Silver Glimmer Snowflake with the Snow Flurry Bigz die, and put it all together with Cherry Cobbler Tulle ribbon (you know how much I love that!)
Now for her Math teacher (one of our all time favorites) we did something a little different! We have an ongoing rivalry between favorite college football teams -and which is better –  and thought this tag would be fun to give him!
This tag is a FREE download  and can be ordered through my online store – it is designed as chalkboard art which is so popular – but I wanted to change the background color, which was really easy to do through My Digital Studio 2!
This year more than any we want our teachers and school staff to know how very much we appreciate what they do!
So to the teachers and staff in Canton City Schools, and teachers everywhere –
THANKS FOR ALL YOU DO!  Our family truly appreciates all of you!

Teeny Tiny Cute!

Teeny Tiny Cute!

We had a wonderful day yesterday – Rachel, my oldest daughter presented a Winter Solstice Concert at our church.  She was joined by a flutist and pianist.  They performed beautiful Christmas seasonal music – Coventry Carol, O Holy Night,  Silver Bells – many of my favorites!   I love all of the “hustle and bustle” of the Christmas season, but it was so wonderful to take the time yesterday to slow down and enjoy the music of the season!

Wanted to share something fun and really cute today –

Some of my downline met recently and swapped these little squares – they are really little – the biggest one is only about 1 1/2 inches square!  This idea came from my friend and talented demonstrator, Penny Thomas.
We all made tiny squares with a Christmas theme and I put them together in a 5 x 7 frame.  I LOVE this!!
Here’s a close up of the squares –
And here is the bow with one of the squares as a little embellishment –
I just wrapped some of the WONDERFUL tulle ribbon around the frame, made a bow and added the square with some linen thread.
The tulle ribbon comes in Cherry Cobbler (#127841) Early Espresso (#127839) and Crumb Cake (#127840)
10 yards for $6.95 and worth every penny! It is easy to use, gorgeous and makes beautiful bows! This will only be available until January 2 as it is featured in our Holiday Catalog Collection.

More Scentsational Season

More Scentsational Season

Another quick card with the Scentsational Season Bundle – this set is so cute and it is one that is “bundled” with the coordinating framelits for a 15% discount.  Cute Cute!!

I used the Festival of Prints pad of designer paper – this is a MUST have!  Great patterns in this and although it seems like a small pad of paper at first glance – it goes a long way in card making!!  And at only $6.95, the price is right!  The pad includes 48 double sided papers.

Lots of great things going on at Stampin’ Up! – last night a new APP called Simply Sent was released – a fun way to send e-cards to your friends and family via email and facebook! How fun is that!!

Here is the link to download the APP – Download the Link HERE!

Ornament Keepsakes Card

Hooray for Friday! Just a quick post today – two of my girls are coming home for a few days and I am getting things ready for them – baking, cooking, etc!  Can’t wait til they get here!

My card today used the Ornament Keepsakes Stamp Set and Holiday Ornaments Framelits Die.  These are part of Stampin’ Up’s Special this month – read about the special HERE

Simple and quick – especially when using the framelits to cut out the ornament!
Colors used are Midnight Muse and Whisper White – I always love this combination for Christmas cards! Added a little bling with a rhinestone jewel and some coordinating Midnight Muse stitched ribbon.
The Merry Christmas word stamp is from the Christmas Lodge set.
