Another project I shared in my Stampin’ Up! Convention presentation were drawstring fabric bags – they are fun to make, and can be made in any shape and size! This one used Timeless Portrait fabric and for the flower embellishment I used a combination of designer fabric, cardstock and designer paper. With Stampin’ Up’s coordinating projects, it made this really easy to do!
This is one of the trifold notecards that I made to put in the bag – love how it all coordinates! Wouldn’t this make a great gift?
Here’s a peak at the inside of the notecard – just enough space to write a short note.
Thanks for visiting today!

Here are more fabric samples that I shared in my class at Stampin’ Up!’s Convention – These are “mug wraps” or “coffee cozies” and are made with the Dresden Die (#125597) an exclusive Stampin’ Up! die used with our Big Shot (#113439).
These are sooooo much fun to make and I think they would make great gifts for teachers – neighbors, friends, anyone! My college aged daughters and their friends like them too!! Add a gift card to a coffee shop and you have a darling gift!
And……..thanks for all the comments and inquiries about the Paper Snip Holder – I am working on a video to share how I made them – and will also do a video on the Coffee Cozy. So check back, hopefully by the end of the week I will have the first one done.

Still so happy when I think about the amazing convention experience I had as a presenter this year. Truly an honor and my sincere thanks to everyone for their kind words about my presentation! There were 3500 demonstrators in attendance and Stampin’ Up! gave little old me the opportunity to share with them! Thank you, Stampin’ Up!
Wanted to share the fabric swatch that I made for my presentation – Stampin’ Up! products are amazing to look at in the catalog, but it is always better to see them “in person” – so I made a fabric swatch to share.
I used our wonderful fabric adhesive roll, Stampin’ Up’s fabric and coordinating Designer Series paper – ironed them together and then cut them using the newApothecary Accents Framelits and my Big Shot (yes, you can cut fabric with our framelits!)
Designer Fabric on the front, Designer Paper on the back – and it all coordinates – one of the things that makes Stampin’ Up! so awesome – easy coordination! Put them on a large ring and it’s done!
One of the projects I shared in my presentation were the paper snip holders. Lots of questions and comments about these – so here they are!
To make these, I used the Petal Cone Die ( Stampin’ Up! exclusive Big Shot Die), Fabric Adhesive Roll,
and Fabric. I used an assortment of our fabrics for these and they are all soooo cute! For the flowers,
I used Big Shot dies and/or framelits – for the ones above, I used the Fun Flowers Bigz Die and the Floral Frames Framelits. This is a perfect fit for our Paper Snips – love these scissors! Great for cutting anything! Wouldn’t this make a cute gift?
