MDS 2 Frameable Art – St. Patrick’s Day

MDS 2 Frameable Art – St. Patrick’s Day

I love to make these frameables with MDS 2.   This one went together pretty quickly – I just printed it out and layered it – added a bit of “gold” with the champagne glimmer paper, and then just added some white bakers twine and a vintage faceted button.  Love it!

I also printed up some of these to use for cards – in fact, I need to get some in the mail this morning!! When I made the cards, I kept them pretty simple – just added a few rhinestones for some bling.

On another note, last week when I posted this card I made for my daugther Anna as she went to her big job interview – I just wanted to let you know that she got a call on Monday and got the job!! She is thrilled and we are so proud of her! She will be working for Youth Villages –  working with emotionally and behaviorally troubled children.  This is her passion and did I say how proud I am of her?  (smile!)

To Order the Lucky Frameable Digital Download HERE – it is just $1.95!!

Swap Share!

Swap Share!

While I am at Leadership Conference, I will be swapping with other demonstrators there!  It’s a great way for us to share ideas – and I am sure I will be coming home with lots and lots of great ideas!

Here’s one of the swaps I made – using the MDS download released this week called Officially Awesome – it is item #133009.

Don’t forget you can try MDS2 FREE for 30 days!  You can do this through my online store here

This is just one sample from the download – it actually includes 4 adorable little Valentines!  I cut each one to 4 x 5 1/4 and then mounted it on a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 piece of Primrose Petals card stock – added a little bling with a rhinestone brad and a little bit of gumball green ribbon to dress it up a bit!

Hand “Santa-Tizer”

Hand “Santa-Tizer”

I think these are really cute and fun!  I love hand sanitizers but thought these were fun for Christmas!  I made many, many of these and handed them out to friends, along with a package of Christmas kleenex!  Just a little, inexpensive but fun gift!   This was all made with MDS 2.  Created Santa’s jacket and printed them off, and used sticky strip to hold them in place around a bottle of hand sanitizer.  The tag was quick and easy wiht MDS 2 as well.
Took a break from wrapping to post today – hope you are all enjoying this day and have everything ready for tomorrow!   I am getting there……..

Halloween is Almost Here!

Halloween is Almost Here!

I guess this will probably be my last Halloween post til next year, but wanted to share just one more cute project!

My daughter Faith is having some friends over this weekend for a bonfire and pumpkin carving and we wanted to make some cute invites for them!  Remember awhile ago I posted this 8 1/2 x 11 MDS project –

Well, one of the great new features of MDS2 is that you can change the template size of any project you are working on – so we changed this to  5 1/2 x 4 1/4  – which is the size of a typical card front.  By adding a little layering, and embellishing (don’t you just love those googly eyes??) – here’s what we came up with –

Don’t you think it is cute? I love it – and here’s how we packaged them!
We used vellum and created envelopes with the Simply Scored Tool and Diagonal Plate – measurements for the envelope – Start with a 7 3/4 inch square piece of vellum – score two sides at 3 1/8 and two sides at 4 1/8.
Hope her friends enjoy these invites – we sure had fun creating them!
And here’s a peek at the inside of the card I made ! Too cute!
Thanks for stopping by and hope you have a GREAT day!
