That’s the Ticket!

That’s the Ticket!

Back to a Valentine Card today – and using the That’s the Ticket stamp set from the Spring Catalog. Love that we have a ticket punch that makes it effortless to punch out these ticket shapes!

While I was on the Founder’s Circle trip last September, we toured Stampin’ Up’s Kanab facilty and got a “behind the scenes” look at what goes on there.

It happened that the day we visited, “That’s the Ticket” stamp set  was being made – some of the demonstrators got to use a big machine and make the rubber part of the stamp set – some got to “pick” the various stamps that go into each case that holds the stamp set and we all received the stamp set to take home with us!

I got to use a machine and fill an ink refill bottle -I pushed a button and the little bottle spun around and was labeled, and I pushed another button and the exact amount of gumball green ink filled the bottle! Pushed another button and the lid was spun into place!  That was neat – so somewhere in stamp land, someone has the gumball green refill that I got to fill!!! Fun!!

Stampin’ Up! Leadership Conference

Stampin’ Up! Leadership Conference

Hello Friends!  Well, it is bright and early Monday morning and I am back from a WONDERFUL Leadership Conference in sunny Orlanda! This year marks Stampin’ Up’s 25th Anniversary and so there was lots of celebrating!
It is always great to spend time with some of my favorite stampin’ friends!  And my head is spinning from all the ideas I have, all the things I have learned and everything I want to share with all of you!
I will be sharing bits and pieces of Leadership over the next few days – so please stop back!
My first picture is from Harry Potter World at Universal Studios!  Stampin’ Up! reserved Harry Potter World just for our Manager’s Reception – we were the only ones there – and had the entire place to ourselves.  They had yummy stations of food throughout – pasta, beef tenderloin, giant turkey legs (big enough to feed an entire family!) and of course TONS of sweet treats!
Those little chocolate purses were yummy – filled with chocolate mousse! My sweet tooth was happy!
Here we are as we were heading out of the park – we all had bags! Faith loves Harry Potter and had asked me to bring her a wand – she wanted Hermione’s wand – and when I bought it, the clerk said it was made of vine on the outside and the inside was dragon heartstrings! Ok then!
I know you wanted to see some stamping today – so here’s a cute scrapbook layout –
This uses the new More Amore Specialty Designer paper and the Hearts a Flutter Framelits.
These framelits are bundled with the Hearts a Flutter stamp set – and you save 15% by purchasing these as a bundle.
