My youngest daughter is headed to high school next year and today is saying goodbye to a school that she has attended since fourth grade. Her school is awesome and while she is excited to go on to high school, she is sad to leave this school and her teachers she loves so much!
For the past two years, she has had the same team of teachers – her class size is very small – only 14 students, so the bond between the students and the teachers is a strong one!
We wanted to do something special for her teachers – and so here’s a photo of what he did – for the 3 women teachers, we got a pretty mini rose plant and for the men – large size chocolate candy bars. I made up a “pocket” card – that holds a gift certificate for each of them. Here’s a close up of the card
I used My Digital Studio (MDS) for part of the card – (A is for Apple download) and then used some Sunshine and Sprinkles Designer Paper. The pocket is made from an envelope – I sealed the envelope and then just trimmed about 1/4 inch off one end to create a pocket.
I am loving MDS – it makes gift giving really easy!!
