Paper Pumpkin

Paper Pumpkin

I am loving Paper Pumpkin – it is a fun, cute, quick easy way to craft.  It’s always fun the day the Paper Pumpkin arrives, and my daughter Anna says it’s her favorite day of the month!!

I have “gifted” my daughters with a Paper Pumpkin subscription and they love it.  Since they no longer live at home, they don’t have the paper crafting supplies on hand that I do – so it is a fun way for them to create – all they need is adhesive, and the Paper Pumpkin kit contains everything else needed to complete the project.

Here’s the card for this month – made just as the kit suggests –

Isn’t this cute?  The hexagon shapes are so trendy now in the papercrafting world – some are prestamped on the card front and some are perforated to create the little “windows” that show the heart shape (one of the stamps in the kit) peeking out.

The brown chevron hexagons are stamped with another stamp included in the kit – and then positioned on the card front.    The Hello to You is the third stamp included in this month’s kit.

Also included are the yellow and red hexagon shapes – they are adhesive backed which makes this card to together in just a few minutes.

I think these stamps are all great ones – and ones that I will reuse for some of my other paper crafting projects.

Here’s another idea – a “stepped up” version of the card – I used a punch from the Punch Pack and punched the little flower shape out of scraps from the other papers included in the kit.  And I love bling so I just added some of our adhesive backed rhinestones.

Fun, quick and easy – and for $19.95 (this includes shipping) what’s not to love?

If you are new to stamping, this is a perfect introduction to stamping.

If you have a more seasoned stamper, it is a way to put together some quick, but cute projects each month – and we all need “quick” !!

Also makes a great gift – for daughters, nieces, sisters, friends of all ages – and I am sure there are some “crafty” boys that would enjoy it as well!

My Paper Pumpkin

Here is one card I made with this month’s My Paper Pumpkin products.  This one is for my dear friend, Sandra!  (And she knows why!!)  Love you, Sandra!

And here is a different card I made using the supplies from the kit, plus a couple supplies I had on hand –

My friend and customer Kelly called me after her first kit arrived last month – she said that after working all day, she came home to find her Paper Pumpkin had arrived in the mail.  She started dinner for her family and went down to her craft room to put the cards together – She said – “I had so much fun, it took me about 20 minutes to complete the cards – I loved it and am SOOO glad that I signed up for My Paper Pumpkin!”

Thanks Kelly – I am so glad you are enjoying your My Paper Pumpkin subscription!

I received the first Paper Pumpkin kit as a gift at Leadership in January, and loved the idea of a monthly kit subscription – but I hadn’t taken the time to put the card together until this week!

Well, as with all crafts, these cards are so much cuter “in person” – and I am amazed at how quickly they go together – it literally just took a couple minutes to make one of the cards – the photo above is the actual card from the first kit –

Everything needed to create four cards, including envelopes are included in the kit – they only thing you need to provide is your own adhesive.  You can order adhesive directly from my online store – for this card I used Snail adhesive and glue dots.  With the first month’s subscription, you receive a clear Block D as a gift.

Then what I did was used the Paper Pumpkin layout and the ink and stamps that come in the kit, and used some of my own Stampin’ Up! supplies and created these cards –

Here’s another one – I just turned the card –
And here’s a different idea – cute card – This one uses the two stamps that are in the first Paper Pumpkin kit – “Hey There friend” and the “spatter” stamp which is so trendy right now!
These stamps are EXCLUSIVE to this kit – and I think they are great!!

And here’s a 5 minute video showing how quick and easy it is to make this cute card!!!

I hope you will subscribe to My Paper Pumpkin – and also think about them as great gifts – I am “gifting” them to my daughters – I think they will enjoy a some creative time every month!
