Daydream Medallions

I was going through some cards the other day and came across this card!  This card is really special to me because it came from Donna Griffith from Stampin’ Up!  I had the privilege to work with her when I did my Convention presentation – and this was a card that she sent to my hubby, Rich while we were at convention!  Seriously – where does Stampin’ Up! find the awesome people that work for them? They truly don’t miss a thing!!!  Anyway, I realized I had never shared this card – so here it is!

Donna used the Daydream Medallion Stamp Set and Floral Frames Framelit Dies for her card.

The small circle is a piece that would normally be thrown away – but should be saved! It was stamped with Versamark Ink and stamped across the Crumb Cake card stock for the front of the card.

I used Donna’s idea to create this card –

Pretty much the same card – I just updated it a bit with current Stampin’ Up! colors – the More Mustard has been retired and I replaced it with Summer Starfruit.
And then, I have been seeing some gorgeous cards using a fun new closure – and wanted to try it out myself – so I made this card:

The closure is made with the Scallop Tag Topper punch – a must have punch!!! And here is another fun way to use it!!!

It has been a really long time since I have made a video, but it’s on my “to do” list – and hope to get one done in the next day or so on how I did this closure!  So please check back – and be sure to stop back tomorrow, I have another card using this same closure!

Thanks for visiting today – Happy Monday!!
