“BaBee” Bag

Aug 23, 2012 | Uncategorized | 0 comments

We had a surprise shower recently for Megan, one of my card club gals who was expecting her first baby.  We did a “BaBee” theme and it was really cute!! Here’s the bag I made for her gift –

As you know from my blog, I really like bees and I think this bee is soooo cute, don’t you?

I used my Big Shot and the Two Tags Die to create the tag base. The bee was made with a few Stampin’ Up! punches – the body of the bee used the Ornament Punch, and the black stripes were made by just punching little bits of a black punched ornament.

The head and wings were made with oval punches – I used vellum for the wings to give it a whimsical feel!  Embellished with a small flower from the BoHo Blossom punch, and a pearl,  and my Bee was complete.

Simple and cute!

And the best part – Megan now has a beautiful, healthy ba”bee” boy!!
