When we were on the Stampin’ Up! Incentive Trip to Disney World last spring, Stampin’ Up! asked us to wish for something – since Disney World is the place where wishes come true, and that they would be selecting several wishes and making them happen!
I was very thrilled when Shelli (our wonderful co founder and CEO) selected my wish as one that would be granted!
I wished for stampin’ supplies for my neighbor, Meesha. She is a talented artist and after graduating from high school, had been given a scholarship to a prestigious art school. After her first semester she had to drop out because she battles Multiple Sclerosis and just couldn’t be at school.
For the past year, the MS symptoms have gotten worse – and so when I heard about the wishes Stampin’ Up! was granting, Meesha came to mind. I knew, because of her artistic talent, she would love our Stampin’ products and would enjoy creating with them.
This all happened back in May, but again, the MS took it’s toll on Meesha and she lost the use of her hands – so stamping was not possible. We waited until the time she regained use of her hands to give her the stampin’ supplies, so that she could use these supplies – and I am happy to say that she is now regaining use of her hands and has been painting and drawing. Praise God!
So….. yesterday, I was finally able to present her with her basket of Stampin’ Supplies – courtesy of Stampin’ Up! Here’s a photo of a basket –
