Good Morning!

Dec 31, 2012 | Uncategorized | 0 comments

We just got back from a wonderful long weekend in Chicago with the girls!
We had so much fun – we shopped, saw Les Miserables (wonderful), ate too much, saw the show “War Horse” based on the movie – this was incredible – they actually have puppeteers for the horses – the horses are life size and several times, the actors rode on them!  Wow!
Also went to the Field Museum and did more shopping!  Very fun – and now we are happy to be home and preparing for the new year!

I wanted to share a few pictures of our house at Christmas – we live in an almost 100 year old Colonial Home and are in a neighborhood that is full of historic old homes, with brick streets and old fashioned style lamp posts.  I love to decorate our house for Christmas and so here are a few photos –

Here is a glimpse of our tree and my corner cupboard decorated for Christmas.   A lot of the ornaments are hand made – my favorite kind!

Vintage Santa with a little feather tree.

Part of my Santa Collection!

Sweet little angel – I made several of these years ago and they are attached to lighting and pine roping going up our stair case.
This is our hot chocolate bar that we set up – yummy!
Thanks for stopping by – lots to get done today after being gone for several days!
Have a GREAT day!
