Teeny Tiny Cute!

Dec 20, 2012 | Uncategorized | 0 comments

We had a wonderful day yesterday – Rachel, my oldest daughter presented a Winter Solstice Concert at our church.  She was joined by a flutist and pianist.  They performed beautiful Christmas seasonal music – Coventry Carol, O Holy Night,  Silver Bells – many of my favorites!   I love all of the “hustle and bustle” of the Christmas season, but it was so wonderful to take the time yesterday to slow down and enjoy the music of the season!

Wanted to share something fun and really cute today –

Some of my downline met recently and swapped these little squares – they are really little – the biggest one is only about 1 1/2 inches square!  This idea came from my friend and talented demonstrator, Penny Thomas.
We all made tiny squares with a Christmas theme and I put them together in a 5 x 7 frame.  I LOVE this!!
Here’s a close up of the squares –
And here is the bow with one of the squares as a little embellishment –
I just wrapped some of the WONDERFUL tulle ribbon around the frame, made a bow and added the square with some linen thread.
The tulle ribbon comes in Cherry Cobbler (#127841) Early Espresso (#127839) and Crumb Cake (#127840)
10 yards for $6.95 and worth every penny! It is easy to use, gorgeous and makes beautiful bows! This will only be available until January 2 as it is featured in our Holiday Catalog Collection.
