Paper Pumpkin

I am loving Paper Pumpkin – it is a fun, cute, quick easy way to craft.  It’s always fun the day the Paper Pumpkin arrives, and my daughter Anna says it’s her favorite day of the month!!

I have “gifted” my daughters with a Paper Pumpkin subscription and they love it.  Since they no longer live at home, they don’t have the paper crafting supplies on hand that I do – so it is a fun way for them to create – all they need is adhesive, and the Paper Pumpkin kit contains everything else needed to complete the project.

Here’s the card for this month – made just as the kit suggests –

Isn’t this cute?  The hexagon shapes are so trendy now in the papercrafting world – some are prestamped on the card front and some are perforated to create the little “windows” that show the heart shape (one of the stamps in the kit) peeking out.

The brown chevron hexagons are stamped with another stamp included in the kit – and then positioned on the card front.    The Hello to You is the third stamp included in this month’s kit.

Also included are the yellow and red hexagon shapes – they are adhesive backed which makes this card to together in just a few minutes.

I think these stamps are all great ones – and ones that I will reuse for some of my other paper crafting projects.

Here’s another idea – a “stepped up” version of the card – I used a punch from the Punch Pack and punched the little flower shape out of scraps from the other papers included in the kit.  And I love bling so I just added some of our adhesive backed rhinestones.

Fun, quick and easy – and for $19.95 (this includes shipping) what’s not to love?

I think My Paper Pumpkin is fun for lots of different crafters/stampers.

If you are new to stamping, this is a perfect introduction to stamping.

If you have a more seasoned stamper, it is a way to put together some quick, but cute projects each month – and we all need “quick” !!

Also makes a great gift – for daughters, nieces, sisters, friends of all ages – and I am sure there are some “crafty” boys that would enjoy it as well!

Thanks for stopping by today – it is soooo hot here – phew!  But I guess that’s what we want in the summer time!
