Seems like there is never enough time in the day! Don’t you think? We have lots going on at our house this week – I started a little home renovation project and in the midst of that, Anna came home for a few days to get ready for her big move to Tennessee!
Anna showed me this cute frame and wondered what she could put in it – so I told her I was happy to come up with something – I picked colors based on her new furniture –

If you follow my blog, you know that I love frames like this! They are fun to make and usually are quite cute! (well, I think so!)
This one uses the Butterfly Bigz die – a must have! I used lots of layers for the butterfly – and put a dimensional between each layer so that the butterfly has quite a bit of depth to it. I used Bermuda Bay and Smoky Slate card stock, and the top layer of the butterfly is vellum. I put some of the layers through my Big Shot and embossed them.
The center of the butterfly is the 7/8 inch scallop circle punch – I snipped the little scallops to create a flower and scrunched it up a bit. I faceted Vintage button and some linen thread finishes it off.
I used a stamp from Chalk Talk stamp set, using Smoky Slate ink and cut it out with the co-ordinating framelit. The background stamp is a single stamp called Beautifully Baroque – and is fast becoming a favorite of mine!
The banners are designer papers from the Neutrals and the Brights Designer Paper stacks – while we have had the Designer Paper Stacks before, these are new – with new patterns and designs. These are great – and are a great “bang for your buck” – these last a long, long time and come in handy for any paper crafting project you may be working on!
Well, better get busy- there’s a lot to get done today!
Thank you for stopping by –
A beautiful piece for your daughter's new home. TFS!
