Monogram Note Cards

It’s crunch time for Christmas!  Need a quick and cute and personalized gift for someone on your list?  I think this makes a great last minute gift and if you are a stamper, hopefully it uses supplies you have on hand –

I made a set of monogramed note cards – using Stampin’ Up!’s Notecards and Envelopes. (#131527)

The cards are embossed with the Alphabet Press embossing folder (#130916)

The L (or whatever letter you need!) was cut with the Big Shot and the Typeset Alphabet Bigz dies.  (#127553) with black card stock.

The little strip of black designer paper is from the Modern Medley pack (#126926).

To hold the notecards ( 5 or 6 fit nicely) I created a pouch using White Vellum Card Stock (#101856).

I cut the vellum 6 x 8 1 /2 – folded it in half and that became my pouch.  To secure the pouch, I used a strip of Black Chevron Ribbon (#130010).

I also folded a tea lace doily along one edge to dress it up a bit – (#129399).

And then added a letter for the front as well!

Maybe this will help some of you who are scurrying around to finish up your gifts – or just a great gift idea for someone in the future!

And today Stampin’ Up! announced the Weekly Deals – view them on my online store by clicking on my name below!

Tomorrow I will post our family Christmas Card.   Ho Ho Ho!!
