Perfect Pennants and Banners Framelits

Jan 18, 2014 | Uncategorized | 2 comments

Yesterday I shared a card that uses the Perfect Pennants Stamp set and Banners Framelits bundle and wanted to share the video above so that you could see these products in action!

The layout I used is the same as the layout of my card yesterday – but because of the different products I used, it looks quite different!

How this card came together – I stamped my greeting and using my Big Shot and magnetic platform, cut out the banner shape.  I did the same with the Soft Sky piece – after stamping an image from the Simply Sketched stamp set.  I sponged all the edges using crumb cake ink – love sponging – and decided I should do it more often!

I used the scallop edge punch to create a little scallop strip with crumb cake card stock.

I used a new punch from the Occasions Catalog – Petite Petals Punch for a bit of color and placed two punched pieces under the Vintage button secured to the card with linen thread.

If you look closely you will see some tiny little pearls scattered across my card – love this look!  It is a very subtle bit of bling!

Products used on this card include:
Perfect Pennants and Banners Framelits bundle – wood mount #134815 or clear mount #134816

LOVE this card! I also LOVE your vintage style stamping area. FUN! I'm also a SU! demo and was heartbroken when they discontinued the First Edition DSP. Where did you find yours? Thanks for sharing!

Thanks Lynette! The paper I used looks like the First Edition DSP – but it is from the Modern Medley DSP. Love it!!
