I think this is my favorite stamp set in the Occasions Catalog! Love the colors in this card – it sure makes me think of spring!
Here’s how I made this card –
The base is Whisper White Card stock – cut 5 1/2 x 8 1/2
I added a piece of Watercolor Wonder Designer Paper cut 4 1/8 x 5 3/8, and added a smaller layer of the same designer paper (this time the polka dots) cut 2 1/2 x 4 1/4
I used the Springtime Hello stamp set to stamp my flower – using a Tangerine Tango and Gumball Green marker. The bee was stamped in Basic Gray and cut out, and popped up with a dimensional.
I cut the stamped image with the Oval framelits, and also cut a second oval in the next largest size with Daffodil Delight card stock. This was also popped up with a dimensional.
To finish the card, I added two pieces of a tea lace doily, stamped “hello spring” onto the polka dot designer paper and added some tangerine tango chevron ribbon.
Here’s a view of my matching envelope – the liner was created with the Envelope Framelit dies and more of the Watercolor Wonder Designer Paper.
