Sea Street

My card today features a fun new stamp set called Sea Street – I have several cards ready to share with you over the next few days – so be sure to check back!!

Isn’t that little crab the cutest??  The anchor stamp is surrounded by a “porthole” created with circle punches and basic pearls

The designer paper used on this card is also new – it is called Maritime and it is really fun !

Here’s how I put this card together –

Card Base is Night of Navy – 8 1/2 x 5 1/2
Next layer is a piece of Maritime Designer Series Paper – 4 x 5 1/4
Layered a different pattern from the Maritime Designer Series Pack – cut 4 x 2

The little crab is stamped in Real Red Ink onto Whisper White card stock and punched with the 3/4 inch circle punch – and popped up with a dimensional.

The “porthole” is created with several circle punches – I first stamped the anchor with Night of Navy ink onto Whisper white cardstock.  Punched this out with the 1 3/4 inch  circle punch.  Stamp first then punch – for perfect placement of the stamped image!

Punch a  1 1/4 inch circle in Night of Navy Card stock – and then punch the 1 3/4 inch circle around the hole.  This creates the porthole – layer onto the Anchor piece

Dress it up with some basic pearls!

The small banners are more patterns from the Maritime DSP.

To finish the card, I stamped “You’re In My Thoughts” with Night of Navy Ink onto the background piece of Designer Paper.
