Tap Tap Tap

I fell in love with the Tap Tap Tap stamp set the second I saw it! I
love typewriter stamps like the one in this set – and have been
searching some of my favorite local vintage stores for an old typewriter
– haven’t found one yet, but I know eventually I will.

Here’s how my card went together –

The Crumb Cake base is 4 1/4 x 11 inches – scored at 5 1/2. I used the Corner Rounder punch to round the corners of the card.

The
next layer is the Typeset Specialty Designer Paper – 3 x 4 1/4 inches.
Love this – and couldn’t wait to get my hands on it – it is paper that
seems like it came right out of a vintage book.

The
alphabet stamp is inked lightly with Cherry Cobbler ink and stamped onto
the Crumb Cake Base – and I also stamped a few splatters using the
Gorgeous Grunge stamp set.

The Typewriter was stamped
with the Memento Black Ink pad – and cut in a perfect square using the
Square framelits.  The edges were sponged with Crumb Cake Ink.

The
finishing touches are the Cherry Cobbler heart – punched with a new
punch, and the Cherry Cobbler seam binding and the new Venetian Crochet
Trim.  This trim is wonderful – another favorite of mine from the new
catalog!
