Choose Happiness

Jul 23, 2014 | Uncategorized | 0 comments

Choose Happiness is my favorite stamp set in the new catalog.  My friends will laugh when they read this, because it seems like many sets are “my favorites!”  I bet many of you are the same way, and have more sets that are your favorites.

This is a simple card that goes together quickly, and was inspired by a card created by Shelli Gardner, Stampin’ Up’s Co-Founder and CEO.
To create this, I used a Soft Suede cardstock  base,
stamped several flowers in soft suede ink to create a background.
Next, I stamped the branch in Old Olive ink and stamped the bird in Soft Suede ink, onto a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock. I sponged Soft Suede Ink on the edge.
The banners were created in two ways – the “wood” grain banner was stamped with a stamp from the Choose Happiness set and cut out with one of the Banner Framelits and my Big Shot.
The second banner was simply a piece of the Typeset Designer Series Paper – (another one of my favorites, lol!)
To finish the card, I just wrapped a piece of linen thread around the focal point and tied it in a bow.
I made 50 of these cards for one of my convention swaps – and really, they went together quickly!
All products are listed below for your convenience.  Click on any image to be taken to my Online Store – and while you are there, be sure to check out this week’s deals (shown below).

Thank you for visiting today! Hope you have a great day !
