Flower Patch and Flower Flair

Here’s a beautiful card with a vintage/shabby feel to it to start out the week!
This flower on the card has lots of layers and comes together quickly with the help of the Flower Patch stamp set, my Big Shot and the coordinating Flower Flair framelit dies.  These products are bundled together for a savings of 15%!
Here’s a close up of the flower –

It has six layers!!  Can you see them all?  All layers were created using the different framelits – some were stamped first , and some were simply cut with the framelits.  Despite all those layers, this card is pretty flat and so can easily be tucked into an envelope to be delivered to someone special!
Other parts of my card –
The large oval was cut with one of the framelits from the Ovals Collection, using the gorgeous Gold Soiree Special Designer Series Paper.    If you want to see how to use framelits, please check out my video in this post
Banners were created using Typeset Designer Paper, along with Very Vanilla cardstock – punched at the end with my hexagon punch.

I looped some gold bakers twine and tucked it behind my flower – held in place with a dimensional.
Sponging added some interest – crumb cake ink was sponged on the Tea Lace doily and also on the edges of the banners.  Also added some small splotches with one of the stamps from Gorgeous Grunge.  I inked up my stamp and then stamped off several times before stamping on my banner.
Below are the products used –

And don’t miss out on this week’s WEEKLY DEALS – they end today!   See them and shop in my online store HERE

Thanks for stopping by this week – and be sure to check back – Stampin’ Up! will have a BIG sale starting Oct. 1 to celebrate World Card Making Day!
