Good Morning! I am sitting here in St. George, Utah at the Founder’s Circle retreat and all I can say is “wow!” Feeling very blessed and thankful to have this amazing, amazing opportunity!
We are leaving soon to visit Stampin’ Up’s Kanaba facility – where we manufacture our stamps and ink pads. Fun day – and this year we have planned a little surprise for the employees at Kanab. More about that later!
Here’s a brief recap of what I have been doing since I left Canton bright and early Wednesday morning –
Flew to Las Vegas – and hooked up with my friend Kim on the way there.
Once in Vegas, we are taken by tour bus up to St. George – I tried to get some photos of the beautiful mountains on the way – not the best photos but pretty none the less!
When we arrived in St. George, we were greeted by some of the Stampin’ Up! staff who are here this week – they totally spoil us – lunch was ready when we arrived, and while we had lunch, our luggage was being delivered to our hotel rooms. And yes, we all get our own hotel room!! For me, this is a real treat – I have a family of 6!!! So to have my own hotel room is so wonderful.
We had a “get to know you” event that evening before dinner – our theme this year is Home for the Holidays, so we were divided into groups – my group was called the Hot Cocoas!! Each group made a gingerbread house – so fun!
Here’s my group !
And yes, there is one man here – first time a male demonstrator has achieved the Founder’s Circle trip!!!
Some decorations in the “holiday lodge” – which is our gathering area.
And the highlight of the evening was our welcome dinner – look how beautiful –
Later that night when I returned to my room, I had a pillow gift waiting – this is “the loot” as my girls would call it – from just the first day! Sheesh!!! Stampin’ Up! does not miss a detail!
So I am off to breakfast now and then headed to Kanab! More later! Thanks for visiting!
