Perfect Pennants Vintage Glam

Sep 3, 2014 | Uncategorized | 0 comments

I love the term “Vintage Glam” and think it is a good description of today’s card!

Here’s how it was made –

Card base is Very Vanilla cut 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 and scored at 4 1/4.

The next layer is Basic Black – 4 x 5 1/4.

Next is a layer of the Typset Specialty Paper and is cut 3 3/4 x 5.   I cut a small strip of this dsp and added it to the bottom of this piece for a little contrast.

I used Black Staz On ink to stamp the “swirl” from Everything Eleanor stamp set, and added some “grunge” with the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set.  The greeting is from Perfect Pennants stamp set and the Very Vanilla and Basic Black banner shapes were cut using my trusty Big shot and the Banner framelits.   These were popped up with some dimensionals.

The “glam” flower is a stamp from Flower Shop set and punched out with the coordinating Pansy Punch.

And the card is finished with a piece of Gold Bakers Twine wrapped and tied into a bow.

I have listed all the products below – if you would like to recreate this card, just click on any image and you will be taken to my online store.  I also added the Magnetic Platform (used with the Big Shot) in my supplies – you can certainly make this card without it, but it sure makes it easy to cut out any and all framelits!!

And while visiting my Online store,  be sure to check out this week’s deals –

And here are the supplies used in my card today –

Thanks for stopping by today – oh my! Can it really be Wednesday already?  I loved the long Labor Day weekend, but I feel like we lost a day somehow this week!
