A Merry Little Wish

Nov 28, 2014 | Uncategorized | 0 comments

Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving!  We had a smaller group than we normally do – but it was a wonderful day full of family, love and FOOD! I have so much to be thankful for – including all of you that visit my blog and support my business!  You are truly appreciated and are counted among my blessings!

This card was inspired by a similar card I received at Founder’s Circle this year from Lyssa Zwolanek.  I made a few changes to make it my own!    Thanks, Lyssa for the inspiration!

Here’s how it went together-
Card base is Crumb Cake 4 1/4 x 11.  Scored at 5 1/2.

Next, I embossed a quarter sheet of Very Vanilla cardstock ( 4  x 5 1/4).

The embossing folder is a great one and is easy to miss in the Holiday Catalog – it is the Filigree Frame found on page 15 of the Holiday Catalog.

The three trees are created using the Festival of Trees stamp set and the coordinating Tree Punch – these products are must haves – and are bundled together for a 15% savings!

I stamped one tree with crumb cake ink – and punched it.

The middle tree is punched from the Typeset Designer Paper.

For the third tree, I embossed a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock and then punched the tree.  I also sponged the tree with crumb cake ink.

The little banner is stamped and also sponged, and tucked under the embossed tree.

To finish the card, I used a small piece of Champagne Glimmer paper and punched a star.

Don’t forget about our online extravaganza going on now through Tuesday.
