Made up this card yesterday and am loving it! Clean and simple – my kind of card!
Here’s how it went together –
I started with a base of Whisper White Card cardstock -cut 4 1/4 x 11.
Next layer is Real Red cardstock cut 4 x 5 1/4. I used the Confetti Star punch to punch ALL the stars at the top!
My focal point is a star from the Star Framelits – I used my Big Shot to cut this shape out. The Santa and sleigh are from the Holiday Home stamp set – this set is photopolymer – and the great thing about this photopolymer stamp is that I was able to “curve” the stamp a little – love the look of that and also made it fit better on my star.
(Note- don’t have a big shot? A large circle punch could easily be substituted for the star shape – just punch and sponge the edges – it would look like a full moon!)
I used a small piece of Crumb Cake cardstock to create my banner. I sponged both the star and banner with Real Red ink and used a dimensional to attach them to my card.
To finish the card, I used a silver metal button and a bit of Cherry Cobbler Baker’s Twine.
