I had a studio full of stampers yesterday, creating Valentine Cards and treats.  The card above isn’t one that the stampers were making yesterday, but wanted to share it today anyway!  It is a clean and simple card and goes together quickly!  I always love the black and red combination, too!

Here are the details on the card –

The base is Whisper White 4 1/4 x 11 and scored at 5 1/2
The red heart was cut using a heart from the Hearts Collection framelits and my trusty Big Shot.   After cutting the heart shape, I used the Happy Heart Embossing folder to add some texture.

Stamping:The black swirl (tuxedo black momento ink) on the card is from the Snuggles and Smooches photopolymer stamp set and creates the idea of bit of bakers twine or linen thread that is so popular right now – the stamp creates that look for us!  “Love” was also stamped in black ink- this word is from the Hello Life stamp set.
I cut a tea lace doily in fourths and used one piece – and attached it to my card using Stacked With Love washi tape.

To finish the card, I used a small strip of black cardstock and punched a row of hearts with the hearts border punch, and attached it to my card using a dimensional – placed the heart on top of this – added a few rhinestones (can’t get enough of them!) and my card was complete.

Here’s another similar card – I omitted the washi tape – and added an arrow, using the What’s Up punch and some  Dazzling Diamond Glimmer paper.

Here are all the products used on my card today – please click on any image to shop in my online store.

Thanks for stopping by today!  TGIF!
