Welcome to the January Stamper’s Dozen Blog Hop -this month we are focusing on the many wonderful free products available through Stampin’ Up!’s biggest sale of the year- Saleabration. My card today uses two of the free product choices – a stamp set and some specialty designer series paper.

My card features “A HappyThing” stamp set. I love this bird…… and this card is similar to a card I posted several days ago – with a few differences – mainly in the orientation of the card and the extra embellishments.
I pulled some of the gold threads from a piece of Gold Bakers Twine and twirled them around to add some sparkle behind the bird image, and also added a bit of lace.
The small strip of paper uses the Irresistibly Yours Designer Series Paper -FREE with a $50 order. I just sponged some crumb cake ink across the paper to make the white parts “pop”. This paper has glossy white designs on it and by adding color, the patterns are revealed. It is like doing an emboss resist technique with the embossing already done.
Supplies used on my card are listed at the end of this post for your convenience. Please feel free to email me if you have questions on my card. Happy to answer them!
