Welcome to our nationwide Autism Awareness Blog Hop! We hope that we inspire you to donate money for this great cause!
My daughter Anna works with autistic children at The Learning Spectrum (TLS) in Columbus, Ohio, so this blog hop has special meaning to me. All funds that I raise through this hop will benefit TLS scholarship program to send autistic children to summer camp!
In addition, I will be donating 20% of any orders received today through Monday, April 13th to TLS Scholarship Program.
Here is the card I created:

If you wonder why I created a tree with blue leaves, it is because blue is the color for Autism Awareness and it seemed like an unexpected, attention getting color choice!
I have been posting blue cards on my blog all week! Please check them all out!

My daughter Anna is an Inclusion Aide at TLS – she travels between several schools in Columbus and helps students with Autism be included in a general classroom setting. The five students she works with are 12 and 13 years old. She celebrates everything with her students – following rules, homework completion, appropriate social interaction, etc.
A highlight of this year was when one of her students achieved Honor Roll recognition for the first time ever! She and Anna got to attend an assembly, and when her name was called, the student ran to the stage, hugged the principal and pumped her arms above her head in excitement! A proud moment for this student and a proud moment for Anna! Anna – thanks for making a difference in the lives of your students!
