So today I wanted to share the wedding invitations from my daughter Rachel and Gabe’s wedding.

The base is brushed silver cardstock – and then I used a shimmery vanilla for the wording. The picture really doesn’t show how pretty these really are! Many told us these were the most beautiful invitations they had ever received – well, let me just say it was a labor of love! What a wonderful and happy time.
I had the wording pieces printed and called upon my two best friends – Rene’ and Sandra to help me assemble these! We got them done in one day!
We used four inch wide lace – attached with sticky strip – and added a strip of Stampin’ Up! Vanilla Satin Ribbon. The “bling” was from last year’s Holiday catalog – we have a similar product in this year’s catalog that would work as well (in fact I used them on the favors). And as a precaution – I added an extra piece of the Vanilla shimmer cardstock over the front of the invitation for mailing, so that they would arrive in perfect shape! I actually mailed a sample to myself to make sure it would arrive as I hoped it would – and it did.
Here’s a peek at the inside of the invitation –

The bottom half of the inside was a pocket that held info on the reception, accomodations for out of town guests, and the response card – and we used more of the four inch lace!

And here are a few more photos!
These two stole the show!

And here is a family photo that I love! We are so blessed!

Please come back tomorrow for a few more pictures!
Thanks for your visit today!
