Welcome to this month’s Stampers Dozen Blog Hop – with a theme of “bright and beautiful.” I chose Daffodil Delight and Black for my colors –

Lots of newly released products on this card! My card for the hop uses a new stamp set and coordinating framelit set -Watercolor Wings and Bold Butterfly framelit dies- (which can be purchased as a bundle for 15% savings! – item #140232)
As the stamp set name suggests – the stamps for the butterflies look as if they were watercolored – with soft lines- so beautiful.
This is a two step stamp set – so I first stamped the more solid butterfly image in Daffodil Delight ink, and then stamped over this with the more detailed stamp with Staz On black ink. The body of the butterfly is Smoky Slate – and the framelits did all the work in cutting this shape out!
To finish my card, I stamped two other images from the stamp set – and added some pretty black and white papers from the Neutrals designer series paper stack, – positioning this over a bit of a tea lace doily. I also added a few of the smallest rhinestones from our Basic Rhinestone packet, and added a small bow with black Baker’s twine.

piece of the designer series paper to the flap, using fast fuse and
trimmed it to fit. For a pretty touch, I also added a little piece of a
tea lace doily onto the envelope – it peeks out when the envelope is
sealed.

Stamp Set: Watercolor Wings, Paper: Basic Black, Whisper White, Daffodil Delight Inks: Daffodil Delight and Stazon Black, Extras: Big Shot, Magnetic Platform, Tea Lace Doily, Rhinestone Basic Jewels, Black Bakers Twine, Neutrals Designer Series Paper Stack, Whisper White Medium Envelopes
