Let’s Eat Cake

Isn’t this a fun card?  As you know, I love tea parties and when I saw the silverware framelits in the Cups  & Kettle framelits set, this was a fun way to use them!

So here’s how this went together-
Add a piece of designer paper from Have a Cuppa DSP stack ( 4 x 5 1/4) – this is the tablecloth – and the tea lace doily becomes the placemat!

For the napkin –  cut two pieces of  Have a Cuppa DSP for the napkin – one at 1 1/2 inches and a slightly smaller one at 1 3/8 inches –  fold each in have and put them together with the smaller piece on the outside.

Use Smoky Slate cardstock and the Cups & Kettles framelits to cut out the silverware.

For the plate – I used a circle framelit (fourth largest) and cut this in Whisper White cardstock.  Next I punched a 2 1/2 inch circle out of a piece of Smoky Slate cardstock  then centered the same circle framelit I used for the plate and cut this out – this created a rim for my plate.

I used the stamps from the Balloon Celebration stamp set and stamped on the center of the plate.

Won’t you come sit with me and eat cake?

Below are the supplies used on my card – hope you enjoyed this!
