North American Events Council Blog Hop

Hello and Welcome to this week’s Events Council Blog Hop.  We are sharing more from our Onstage Local presentations from earlier this month using the Love What You Do product suite. These products are available to demonstrators to purchase this month – and will be available to everyone in May!

First, I started with the Embellishment Kit.  The kit comes in a beautiful box that stores the contents of the kit – pearlized thread, baker’s twine, laser cut tags, clips and adhesive backed roses. The lid of the box features Stampin’ Up’s Statement of the Heart.

I decided to dress up the lid of the kit for a gift.  I used vellum, and a piece of the Share What You Love Specialty Designer Paper, and one of the die cut tags from the kit.  I stamped the words onto a piece of Shimmery White paper and cut out a circle with the Stitched Shape framelits and my Big Shot.

The floral images are from the Make a Difference stamp set – I used a blender pen and ink to add some color to them.

The embellishment kit is sized to hold our standard sized cards:

Each card shows different elements from the Embellishment kit and showcases the beautiful Love What You Do Designer Series Paper.

As you can see, I used the same layout on each of the cards –  this is a favorite layout of mine as it showcases both sides of the  Designer Series Paper!

Here’s an inside view of two of the cards –

To create a card with this layout, cut a card base measuring 5
1/2″ x 5,  score at 4 1/4″  along the 5″ side, creating a 3/4″ piece that
becomes part of the card front.

The
Designer Series Paper is cut 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″.  This piece is attached to
the the inside of the 3/4″ piece, and completes the card front.  It is
nestled right up against the score line of the card base.

Here’s another post where I used the same layout with the Petal Palette Suite –  See it HERE

I love the products from this suite – they are beautiful and are so fun to create with!

Now it’s time to continue on the hop to Sherry Roth’s blog –
