Christmas Tea

Dec 24, 2018 | Uncategorized | 0 comments

 We have a houseful of family here for the next few days- YAY!!!!   My heart is full and I am counting my blessings! I wanted to take a quick minute to wish you all a very Merry Christmas!

My project today is what I call “Christmas Tea” – this was one of the projects from my Holiday Retreat held back in October.

Here’s a view of the outside:

 The best part of this is inside:

 The inside includes a tea bag, a chocolate square, a sugar packet and a little spoon.  And a cute poem:

The poem reads:
On Christmas Day
At Half Past Three
Brew Yourself a Cup of Tea;
I’ll think of You,
You think of Me,
While Sitting around
Your Christmas Tree.

Isn’t that sweet?   I love this!   I love that you can be thinking of a friend or loved one that you may not be with on Christmas Day – and that they are thinking of you as well!  I’m not sure what will be going on at my house tomorrow at half past three- but at some point I will brew a cup of tea and reflect on all the blessings in my life!

I didn’t do a step by step tutorial for this project, but I did make a quick pdf of supplies and measurements.
