Simple Stamping

Stampin’ Up! has had a focus on #simplestamping recently.  It is a great concept –  who doesn’t love a card that is quick, easy to make, uses just a few supplies and is cute?  Sounds perfect to me!

Today I want to share with you a truly #simplestamping card!!  I am using the gorgeous Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper – with paper this beautiful, you don’t really need to add much! This designer paper is one of our Saleabration offerings – you can get it free with a $50 product purchase.

To create this card, I cut the Designer Paper (DSP) at 3″ x 4″.  You’ll be able to get 12 pieces of this size from each sheet of 12 x 12 DSP!    The DSP was layered onto a panel of Basic Black cardstock cut 3 1/4″ x 4 1/4″.

I pulled colors from the DSP for my card bases –  for these samples I used Balmy Blue, Daffodil Delight, Whisper White and Grapefruit Grove.

The greeting I used is from the Butterfly Gala stamp set –  although with this paper, you could certainly use many different greetings – thank you, sympathy, birthday,  etc.

I mounted this greeting on my Stamparatus and was able to create quite a few cards very quickly!

I added a little bling to the cards –  I used the Gingham Gala Adhesive Backed sequins –  and a placed a small rhinestone on the center of the sequin.

Here are the supplies I used.  If you’d like to create these cards, you can purchase these in my online store – just click on the link and you’ll be taken to my store and can shop!
