Here’s another cute little Gnome card -like I said on Tuesday, these little gnomes have drawn me in!

My card today is a pop-up gift card holder – here’s an inside view:

All it takes is a strip of Whisper White cardstock measuring 5 x 1, scored at every inch – folded up to create a little square box. This is attached to the center of the card, along the fold line – your gift card attaches to the front of the box! It’s a great way to “dress up a gift card” – and I love that it will fit in an envelope so that it can be mailed!
Measurements:
Shaded Spruce Cardstock – 4 1/4 x 5 1/2; plus pieces for cropping the trees
Whisper White Cardstock – 5 1/4 x 8 – scored at 4
Real Red – 4 x 5 1/4, – Frame cropped with the Stitched So Sweetly Dies
To make this card:
Start with a Shaded Spruce quarter sheet of cardstock.
Use the pinewood plank embossing folder to emboss the front of the Whisper White card base.
Cut a frame with the Real Red cardstock – using the Stitched So Sweetly Scalloped shape. Position over the White embossed panel with dimensionals.
Crop two different sizes of trees from the Pine Woods Dies – using Shaded Spruce cardstock.
Attach to card as shown – using mini dimensinals – (cut some in half it need be so they don’t show!)
Stamp the gnome on a piece of Whisper White cardstock and color with Stampin’ Blends – cut out using Paper Snips.
Adhere gnome to card front with dimensionals.
Stamp the greeting onto a small whisper white panel and cut with the So Sentimental die. Adhere the strings from the glitter star to the back of this panel with a dimensional. Add a bow of Linen Thread above the greeting, attach with a glue dot.
Embellish the card with red rhinestones.
