I just LOVE the colored wood Designer Series Paper that is part of the Country Woods Suite Collection!  It makes the PERFECT birdhouse, doesn’t it?

Step by Step Tutorial Black and Bee

DIMENSIONS:

  • Thick Basic White: 5 ½” x 8 ½”, scored at 4 ¼”
  • Basic White: 2 ¼” x 3 (for stamped images)
  • Early Espresso: 4” x 5 1/4”
  • Petal Pink: 2 1/2 x 2 1/2 (for die-cut flowers)
  • DSP: 3 3/4” x 5” (layer) + needed for die-cuts

  1. Burnish Thick Basic White card base on fold.
  2. Attach the large DSP layer to Early Espresso layer with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Attach to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  3. Use Tuxedo Black Memento Ink to stamp the bucket onto Basic Beige cardstock.
  4. Use a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine to crop all birdhouse die-cuts from the Country Woods Designer Series Paper.
    • Birdhouse, 3 Roof Pieces, Hole on House, 1 Birdhouse Bottom, 1 Birdhouse Pole
  5. Assemble and adhere together and to the card with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  6. Crop the 5 flowers from the Petal Pink Cardstock.  Adhere as shown with Dimensionals and Mini Glue Dots.
  7. Stamp the bird in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  Color with Smoky Slate, Crumb Cake and Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blends Combo Packs.
  8. Stamp the sentiment in Early Espresso Classic Ink. Trim with Paper Snips. Adhere with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  9. Embellish with 5 Smoky Slate Pearls.
